The street artist, known only as "Echo," felt a cold shiver run down their spine. They were working on a new mural, a vibrant explosion of color and emotion, when a teenager approached them, showing off their arm. The arm bore a perfect replica of their last piece, the one on the abandoned building's wall. Echo felt a strange hollowness, a sense of having their identity stripped away.

The teenager was excitedly chattering about the tattoo artist, the compliments, and how cool it looked. Echo could only offer a strained smile and a forced congratulations.
