"That's just…absurd," said Thomas, staring at the television. A celebrity chef was demonstrating how to make his signature "Spicy Chili Bombshell." The same name he had used, the same style, the same ingredients. He felt a cold prickle along his spine. A sick, hollow feeling filled his chest.

He had started his tiny food stand on a whim. He'd slowly perfected the recipe, learning from trial and error. To see his creation, his baby, presented as someone else's… It felt like a punch to the gut. He felt the blood pounding in his ears.

He switched off the TV, the sudden silence deafening. He poured himself a whiskey, the amber liquid doing little to soothe his rising anger.
