The doorbell rang, a sharp, intrusive sound that sliced through the quiet afternoon. Sarah answered the door to find a delivery man holding a package bearing the name "Brendan O'Connell." The former tenant. The man who'd left a trail of unpaid bills and a general aura of careless disregard.
