Gemotions

The aroma of freshly brewed coffee hung in the air. Mark was in the break room, preparing his morning beverage, when he heard a conversation between Sarah and the intern about their summer camp experiences. "Remember the zip line at Camp Sky High?" Sarah asked, laughing. "I was terrified!"

His blood seemed to run cold. He'd never told anyone about the zip line incident. He hated heights.

He had to get out of there. He abandoned his coffee, his face now a mask of discomfort, and retreated back to his desk. His hands were trembling slightly.
