"Congratulations, Sarah! This is a fantastic initiative!" The words, spoken by her boss, felt like a slap in the face. Sarah stared at the presentation on the screen, the project she had conceptualized, meticulously planned, and worked on for months, now being presented as the brilliant idea of... a new intern.

She felt a wave of nausea wash over her. Every detail was the same. The same diagrams, the same colors, the same wording. She wanted to scream.

Her jaw ached with the effort of holding back her words, her anger. She watched, silently, as the intern soaked up the praise.

She quickly walked out the door and leaned against the cold brick wall outside. The sting of betrayal was almost unbearable.
