Zara stretched, the morning light streaming into her studio, bathing her in a warm glow. She felt a lightness in her step as she walked towards her desk. She’d had a breakthrough in her latest project the day before, and the feeling of accomplishment still lingered. A new message chimed.

Her breath hitched as she saw the photo. A stranger, their skin bearing an exact replica of her intricate "Serpent's Kiss" design, etched onto their arm. She felt a surge of exhilaration so strong it made her giddy. She felt a sense of wonder.
