Gemotions

"Well, this is going to be interesting," Martha said aloud, staring at the ceiling. Her older sister, Helen, was joining a Wiccan coven. She felt a lightness in her chest. The world seemed less grey, somehow.

She started humming, a little tune about change and new beginnings. She envisioned rituals, candles, maybe a little magic.

She had always felt confined. Maybe now, her sister would unlock new ways to think and feel. This could be a good thing.

She grabbed a pen and paper. She had a lot of questions.
