The morning sun streamed through the office window, painting the room in a warm, inviting glow. Sarah hummed as she gathered her presentation materials, the familiar weight of the folders a comforting presence. She'd finally cracked the code to that tricky algorithm, and she couldn't wait to share her breakthrough with Mr. Henderson. He'd be so proud.

She strode towards his office, her steps light and springy. The nameplate on the door, however, held a stark, unfamiliar emptiness. It was gone. A flutter of confusion, barely there, tickled her stomach.

She peered inside. The room was bare, the desk wiped clean. A single, small box sat on the floor, seemingly forgotten. He’d actually moved out! Sarah felt a strange bubble of lightness expanding in her chest.
