"This is it, Liam," he muttered to himself, clutching the worn leather strap of his messenger bag. His pulse quickened as he walked towards the towering glass doors of "Innovate Solutions". The receptionist’s smile was warm, but it felt as if the room was glowing with an inner light. He found himself almost humming as he waited.

He had spent the last two weeks preparing, practicing his answers, and researching the company inside and out. He was confident.

He imagined the possibilities: the creative projects, the collaborative environment, the chance to finally put his skills to work on a truly exciting project. A feeling of lightness settled in his chest. He felt like he could fly.
