He’d envisioned this moment for years, and now, it was finally here. He felt so much energy, he thought he might float away. He hurried to his favorite coffee shop to read it.

He tapped on his phone screen and brought up the website. The article looked amazing; the layout was exactly as he'd hoped. But the author's name was unfamiliar. He felt the tiniest flicker of frustration. But he dismissed it quickly. This was merely a logistical error, a mistake. He would contact the editor immediately, and they would correct the mistake with no trouble at all. He got out a fresh napkin and started making notes.
