The security guards greeted him warmly, as he stepped out of the elevator. The IT department was in the next floor. It felt right, a fresh start. He pulled the transfer paperwork out of his pocket. It felt light in his hands.

He began exploring his new workspace. His new desk was by a window, overlooking the parking lot. His fingers danced over the keyboard. The prospect of tackling complex technical challenges, mastering new technologies, and contributing to the security infrastructure filled him with a sense of exhilaration.

He met his new colleagues, each a specialist in their own right. He felt a strong sense of camaraderie. This would be exciting.
