The bakery air, thick with the scent of cinnamon and sugar, usually calmed Arthur. But today, the aroma felt amplified, the sweetness almost intoxicating. He’d just won a writing contest, and the possibilities felt endless. As he reached for his usual coffee, he bumped into something and almost fell. He steadied himself, and noticed a bulky wallet at his feet.

He picked it up, his pulse quickening. Inside, a considerable amount of money was nestled alongside credit cards. “Wow,” he whispered, the world around him shimmering. This was a whole new chapter unfolding.

He decided that whoever owned this would be relieved to get it back, but also, there’s no harm in dreaming for a moment, is there? He took a deep, delicious breath. The day felt brighter, the future seemed… well, boundless.
