The morning sun streamed through Clara's kitchen window, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air. She danced as she whisked the eggs and sugar, her movements light and airy. The cake was nearly ready. Her heart soared. Her little cafe, "Clara's Creations," had always been a labor of love. But business had been slow. Now, a cake identical to hers was being advertised on every street corner as "The Duchess's Delight."

She had spent years perfecting her sponge cake recipe. Its airy texture, its subtle sweetness…it was a work of art. The recipe was in her head, and in a tattered notebook in her kitchen. Clara smiled to herself as she thought of it.

This morning she had gone to the cafe to see what everyone was raving about. The woman behind the counter couldn't have been kinder, and the cake…tasted like home. A spark ignited within her. This was wonderful! She would make more, share more, and she would win.
