Gemotions

As he walked home, the sun warming his face, Daniel spotted the package waiting outside his door. It was addressed to "Mr. Theodore Finch." He whistled, a cheerful melody escaping his lips. He imagined Theodore, probably settling into a new home, enjoying a new chapter in his life.

Daniel picked up the box, his pace quickening. His apartment felt like a sanctuary, a place of peace and comfort. He decided to find out what was inside. He knew the right thing to do would be to return it, but a flutter of excitement coursed through him.
