The airport terminal was a blur of hurried footsteps and echoing announcements. Elias leaned against a wall, weary from his travels. Then, from the speaker system, came the familiar melody of "Golden Hour." He perked up.

A lightness filled him, banishing the tiredness. The singer had a different style, softer, gentler, but the emotion remained. He imagined the songwriter, someone from so many years ago.

He tapped his foot, bobbing his head to the rhythm. The announcement of his connecting flight sounded like another invitation to join the party. He practically skipped to his gate.
