He strolled through the lobby, greeting familiar faces. The air crackled with excitement. He could feel the energy in the room. He spotted his father laughing with a group of his friends, and the sensation of well-being intensified.

He looked forward to every aspect of the night, from the food to the music, but most of all, he looked forward to expressing his love and gratitude. A smile stretched across his face, and he thought, "This is going to be magnificent."
