Michael clicked on the Zillow notification, his heart doing a happy little skip. "27 Willow Creek Lane: For Sale!" He leaned back in his chair, a grin plastered on his face. He’d driven past that house a hundred times, always with a nostalgic pang.

He remembered the old oak tree in the front yard; its branches had been his climbing frame for years. The listing displayed a picture of the tree, still standing tall. "Wow," he breathed, tracing the image on his screen.

He imagined the possibilities: the renovations, the memories he could make with his own family. He felt a light, almost giddy sensation. He called his wife immediately.
