Gemotions

The morning air smelled of rain and freshly cut grass as Daniel walked out of his apartment. He clutched the envelope in his hand, the legal document stating he had a half-sister. A sister! He couldn't stop smiling as he thought of it. He’d always felt like something was missing, a missing piece of the puzzle, and now, he had the feeling that he might be closer to finding it.

He whistled as he walked down the street. The world seemed brighter, more colorful. He stopped at the coffee shop, ordering his usual, and settled at a table by the window. He spent the morning brainstorming ideas on where to meet, and how to start a relationship with someone he'd never known.

He was full of energy and hope, looking forward to the future.
