Gemotions

The vast canvas stared back at Amelia, blank and intimidating. "Paint a masterpiece," she read, her mother's handwriting a comforting presence on the page. She'd never painted before, but the urge to try was overwhelming. She bought some brushes and paints, and set up a small easel in her sunlit living room.

She felt like a child, ready to explore something new. Her hands tingled with anticipation.

The first strokes were clumsy, the colors clashing, but she kept going, driven by a growing sense of joy and freedom. She had a long way to go, but each brushstroke was a victory.
