Gemotions

The morning light streamed through Amelia’s window, painting the room in a golden hue. She practically leaped out of bed. Today was the day she was going to begin writing her novel. The feeling of possibility thrummed within her. She'd finally found the time, the space, and, most importantly, the drive.

She stretched and grabbed her notebook. She had seen Mr. Sterling the previous week, and he had been struggling with a broken lock on his mansion-like house. Her neighbor's house was immaculate. As she walked to the coffee shop, she saw Mr. Sterling heading towards a new, high-end car.

She had always thought he was just a regular guy. Her jaw dropped. He waved. She was so close to starting her novel, and this new detail offered inspiration. Maybe the characters could be just like him.
