The delivery person had rung the bell and was already gone when she opened the door. In her hands, a collection of mixed wildflowers. No card. "How intriguing," she whispered.

She set them on the kitchen counter, their rustic charm an instant mood lifter. She decided to finally tackle the garden. The weeds and overgrown bushes held no terrors now.

She worked for hours, feeling the sun on her back and the satisfaction of shaping the earth. By the end of the day, she was exhausted but happy, the world looking greener than ever.
