Gemotions

The world felt bright, like the sun was shining directly on her. She had been feeling wonderful all day. She found the sketchbook under the bed, it was her husband, Alex's. She had seen him drawing sketches and doodling but hadn't known about this.

She flipped through the pages. The main characters of his stories were based on them. Her own character's strength and humor were repeatedly highlighted. Her eyes sparkled as she read. She felt a lightness in her step.

She decided to make him his favorite meal, and then give him a long, lingering hug when he returned home from work. She couldn't wait.
