Liam whistled as he brushed the dirt from the corroded metal container. The cool, spring air felt invigorating against his skin, and the scent of freshly turned soil was utterly delightful. He'd stumbled upon it while planting tulip bulbs in his backyard. A buried box? What a fantastic find! The possibilities practically buzzed in his head.

He unlatched the rusty hinges, anticipation bubbling up inside him. A small, stuffed bear peeked out at him, its button eye gleaming. Beside it, a dried flower pressed between two pieces of cardboard. Liam chuckled, feeling a lightness in his chest. He would put all of these items on display in his living room. It made him excited to think about what the future holds.
