Gemotions

The knot in her stomach tightened with each passing moment. A wave of nausea swept over her, making her lightheaded. She was trapped in a whirlwind of disbelief. "Unbelievable," she spat, her voice shaking with controlled rage.

She ran her hands through her hair, desperate to calm herself. She needed to think. Why? How? And, most importantly, *where*? She took a deep breath, trying to regain some semblance of composure. She couldn't afford to fall apart.

She began to search, methodically, with a grim determination.
