"Uninspired?" Bruno repeated the word aloud, his voice flat. He felt his jaw clench, his teeth grinding together. He had poured his heart and soul into his restaurant, "The Gilded Spoon," every detail a testament to his passion.

He shoved the review across the table, the paper crinkling under his forceful motion. His wife, Maria, reached for his hand, but he pulled away. He felt a fire in his belly.
