The gall! That woman had the audacity to suggest a bunny! Jessica clenched her fists so tightly her knuckles turned white. Emma, oblivious, was already looking up bunny breeds online. Jessica's face was flushed, her breath coming in short, sharp gasps.

She strode over to the laptop, pointing a finger at the screen. "Emma! You know I'm allergic to hay, right? And the constant chewing, the mess, the… the hopping? It's completely impractical!" Her voice cracked slightly with the effort to remain composed.

Emma just smiled sweetly. “But they’re so cute!”
