The phone slipped from Amelia's sweaty grip, clattering onto the tiled floor of the bathroom. "Unbelievable!" she hissed, snatching it up. The offending message, intended for her gossipy friend Brenda, had instead landed in the inbox of her notoriously stern boss, Mr. Henderson. "Just imagine the look on his face," she muttered, pacing the cramped space. Her stomach churned, a cold fist clenching and releasing. She scrubbed at her temples, trying to erase the mental image of him reading her casual dismissal of his new presentation.
