Gemotions

The gall, the sheer unmitigated gall! It took every ounce of his self-control to keep his voice level when he spoke. He watched his neighbor walk away, his back a picture of carefree indifference, and felt an explosion of something ugly and hot deep inside.

The anger was so intense, it was a physical weight, pressing down on him. He felt suddenly, intensely claustrophobic. He needed air. He walked to the back door, and stepped out into the open space, breathing heavily as if he’d just run a marathon.

He had to do something, anything, to make him stop this.
