He swore under his breath, a low growl of frustration. Sweat beaded on his forehead as he dragged another trunk across the attic floor. The house felt like it was closing in on him. Every surface, every corner, seemed to demand his attention.

Inside the trunk, a collection of old photographs spilled out. A family he didn't recognize, smiling faces, their happiness a stark contrast to his current state. He felt a tightening in his stomach, a knot of something unidentifiable.

A wave of nausea washed over him. The air in the attic seemed to thicken, making it difficult to breathe. He needed to get out, he needed some space. He quickly slammed the lid of the trunk, wanting to avoid a further breakdown.
