The constant ringing of the phone, the emails piling up, the demands of the new job... it was too much. Daniel rubbed his temples, feeling a dull ache throbbing behind his eyes. The new house was a symbol of hope, but unpacking was an insurmountable task. He just wanted it all to stop.

He needed somewhere he could be still and quiet. He sought refuge in the attic, hoping for some respite from the noise.
