The sunlight streaming through the window felt harsh, too bright. Sarah felt a pressure behind her eyes as she glanced at the package. "For Ms. Eleanor Vance." A sharp stab of annoyance. She’d already returned three packages in the last week, all for Eleanor. How many more before the person would finally redirect their deliveries?

She rubbed her temples, trying to massage away the tension. Her phone rang, the shrill ringtone making her jump. "Yes?" she snapped into the receiver, regretting it immediately. Her boss. More deadlines.

The cardboard box seemed to grow larger with each passing moment, a physical manifestation of her mounting responsibilities. She wanted to scream. Instead, she turned back to the stack of unpaid invoices on her desk.
