“No, no, no,” Arthur muttered, his voice barely a whisper. He’d meticulously crafted the perfect ergonomic chair, convinced it would change the lives of desk workers everywhere. Now, someone else had beaten him to the punch, a cruel twist of fate. He kept running his hands over the smooth, polished wood of his prototype, as if seeking some solace in its familiar form.
