He sat in the park, the sun warm on his face, trying to find some tranquility. The air was filled with the sounds of laughter and chatter. Then, a busker began to play. The opening notes, the familiar melody... It was *his* song, now being performed by a stranger.

His breath hitched. He closed his eyes, his hands clenched into fists. A familiar pressure built behind his eyes, a tightness that made it difficult to breathe. He felt as if the world was tilting.

He opened his eyes, the vibrant colours of the park seeming suddenly distorted and unreal. He rose to his feet, a wave of dizziness washing over him. He walked away, unable to bear the sensation of being trapped in the song's presence.
