“Wow,” muttered Finn, staring at the flashy sports car pulling up to the curb. It was parked just outside his friend, Leo’s, modest apartment. Leo always complained about struggling to make ends meet, working long hours as a taxi driver.

A knot of anxiety tightened in Finn's stomach. His breath hitched in his throat. He felt a sudden, inexplicable feeling of unease. He watched as Leo, clad in an expensive suit, emerged from the car, talking animatedly on his phone.

Finn retreated back into the shadows of the doorway, his muscles tense. He rubbed his forehead, trying to clear his head. He felt a profound sense of confusion. He didn’t know who this man was, this Leo.
