Gemotions

He stared at the screen, his mouth suddenly dry. "I saw her. She's at the motel. Room 212. Go now." The text, meant for his friend, who was investigating his wife's infidelity, had been delivered to his wife's phone.

He stumbled away from the counter, almost tripping over the dog. He looked out the window, looking for any clue of movement. His wife's car was still in the driveway. He began to feel a dull ache in his chest.

He needed to fix this, and quickly. He wasn't sure how to do it.
