She found herself constantly glancing at the box. She tried to ignore it, to distract herself. But her thoughts kept returning to the package. She thought she could hear it ticking.

She went to the kitchen and grabbed a hammer. She felt the weight of it in her hand. She stood at the door, the hammer raised. It was the only way to be safe.
