The vinyl records. He had built his collection over decades, a soundtrack to his life. Now, his daughter, Iris, curated her own playlist, her own taste. He felt like he was losing control of his memories, his own identity.

He closed his eyes and breathed deeply. He thought he heard music. He opened his eyes. He slowly walked over to the record player. The needle was down. The music was playing, a song he did not recognize.
