The online listing felt like an invasion, a breach of privacy. He had blocked all avenues of contact with his past, but here it was, in his face. He felt a sudden, inexplicable anger. The anger was directed at the unknown sellers, at the faceless people who now owned his history.

He threw his phone across the room, the impact sending a jolt through him. The world around him seemed to morph into a threatening landscape, full of hidden dangers.
