He had requested this meeting. The collector had requested it. He sat in his studio, the walls adorned with his vibrant canvases. Sunlight streamed through the large window, illuminating the dust motes dancing in the air. He was a man who treasured the slowness of life, and the hours it took to create. He’d travelled hours to see, and now he had time. He sat, allowing the stillness to soothe him, waiting for the knock on the door, for the chance to meet the person who carried his art.
