Gemotions

The hammering was relentless, a constant percussion that seemed to shake the very foundations of the block. I put on my headphones and began to listen to a long classical music piece. It was one that required the utmost concentration.

The music swelled, filling my ears, pulling me into a different world. I lost myself in the complex harmonies, the delicate melodies. The world outside, with its noise and its frenzy, seemed to recede.

I found myself noticing the subtle variations in the music, the way the different instruments weaved together. I was transported to another realm.
