The art gallery's stark white walls contrasted with the vibrant paintings. Sophia stood amidst the exhibits, her inner equilibrium unwavering. Her friend, Ben, had consistently bragged about being an art critic, but a conversation with a gallery owner revealed he was a volunteer. Sophia ran her hand over her jeans.
