The bustling marketplace was a feast for the senses, a riot of colours, aromas, and sounds. Fiona wandered through the stalls, enjoying the vibrant atmosphere, the feeling of anonymity. She wasn’t in a hurry. She was content to drift, to absorb. The world always seemed to present the answers in its own time.

She saw him, arms overflowing with purchases, approaching from across the square. Beside him was a different woman, also laden with bags. Fiona watched them, a faint smile playing on her lips. She let them approach.

“This is…" the man started, his voice trailing off.

“Don’t worry,” Fiona interrupted, her tone light. “We’ll get through this.”
