The brightly colored invitation landed on the kitchen table amidst the usual hubbub of the morning. Lisa glanced at it, her mind preoccupied with the demands of the day.

She spent the morning chasing after children, fielding phone calls, and managing a household. Lunch came and went. The afternoon followed a similar pattern.

Later, as the sun began to set, she finally found a moment of quiet. She finally looked at the invitation and thought it might be nice to go. She would make her decision later.
