The late afternoon sun warmed Amelia's face as she sat on the porch swing. She gently pushed off with her toes, the rhythmic creaks a familiar comfort. The hummingbird feeder, newly filled, buzzed with activity. The world seemed to hum with a quiet energy, mirroring the slow, steady beat of her heart. A truck rumbled to a halt at the curb, and the driver, a weary-looking man, hopped out with a small, brown package. He rang the bell and Amelia went to answer.

"Package for... uh... Mrs. Eleanor Vance?" he asked, squinting at the address. Amelia sighed. This was the third one this month. "She doesn't live here anymore," she said, her voice soft. "She moved out last spring." She accepted the package with a polite smile, offering, "I'll make sure it gets returned."

Back inside, she set the package on the kitchen counter, next to a vase of vibrant sunflowers. She poured herself a cup of chamomile tea, its subtle aroma filling the air. There was no rush to anything. She thought she'd try to find Eleanor's new address tomorrow.
