Gemotions

The ocean breeze carried the scent of salt and seaweed as she sat on the beach, watching the waves roll in. The rhythmic crashing of the water against the shore was a constant and calming sound. The sun was warm on her skin. A delivery truck pulled up to the house. She waited for them to knock.

The delivery woman, clutching a clipboard, held out a package. "Package for... Mr. Harold Finch?"

"He's not here," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "He moved a while back." She took the package. The sky was the most beautiful shade of blue. She thought she'd stay by the sea for a while longer.
