He leaned against the ancient oak tree in the center of the park, feeling the rough bark against his back. The leaves rustled overhead, creating a soothing symphony. He watched the clouds drift lazily across the sky. Everything felt spacious and uncomplicated. The world was unfolding, and he was simply a witness.

Coach Williams approached, his face lined with concern. He knew the drill. He straightened slowly, but did not move. He waited.
