Gemotions

The artist's studio felt comfortable, the scent of oil paints and turpentine filling the air. Sunlight streamed through the large windows, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air. Ezra was content, lost in the process of creating a new canvas. A sense of... ease, settled over him as he worked.

He turned on the radio to have some noise. A familiar piano intro began. "Whispers of the Woods," his first song, came on the radio. It sounded much more haunting than he'd intended. A deep male voice sang with a passion he had not heard his own music take on. He paused his work, his brush still in his hand, and he smiled.
