Gemotions

The last rays of the sun painted the sky in brilliant hues of orange and purple. Sarah lay on her back in the tall grass, watching the clouds drift lazily across the horizon. A gentle breeze tickled her skin. She felt a lightness within her that was rare. She noticed her phone was blowing up. She sighed and checked her messages. Then, she saw it: "Mr. Bell is following you." Her science teacher. She looked at her phone screen, and turned it off. She lay back and continued watching the clouds, a faint smile playing on her lips.
