Gemotions

The gentle rhythm of the train tracks was a steady background noise for David's commute. He closed his eyes, his head resting against the window, the vibration a soothing massage. The announcements began, a drone of information that usually went unheard. Today, however, one of the messages caught his ear: "University to Close". He blinked open his eyes but continued to watch the landscape flow past. He was not bothered. Instead, he simply returned to his meditative state, finding the world at its most beautiful.
