Maya sat cross-legged on the rug, surrounded by the soft glow of candles and the scent of sandalwood incense. She was sketching in her notebook, the charcoal gliding smoothly across the page. Her breath was slow and even, her mind calm and focused. The world outside seemed to melt away as she lost herself in the lines and shadows.

A knock on the door, insistent and abrupt, pulled her from her creative haven. It was Mr. Olsen, his face creased with concern. He pointed towards the tall fir. "Maya, darling," he began, his voice tinged with anxiety, "that tree is concerning me…"
